Okay so you’re at that time in your life when you ask yourself these questions:
“If not now, when?”
“If not me, then who?”

The desire to live and experience life on another level, the desire to live the dream and the desire to leave a legacy is strong. You have said it to yourself and maybe a few others, 2012 is MY YEAR!  But how is it suppose to happen, by believing it, by repeating it three times a day, by reading and writing positive affirmations or by working harder?

Sometimes you may do the same activities different ways and still do not reach the results you were really after. You still seem to move forward but silently you are stuck, overwhelmed and frustrated. Why does this happen?

This is the sad dilemma of multiple entrepreneurs and professional women.

Let me share a personal story.

For years, I knew there was something in my heart I wanted to do. In the beginning, listening to others, trying to please them and lack of confidence kept me from following my dream. After overcoming a few obstacles, I was ready to get clear about what I wanted but I was still without a clue of how to make it happen. I scrambled around trying all sorts of things. I did what my peers were doing, not knowing it was like playing follow the leader right off of the cliff.

What if instead of jumping off a cliff, you could take just one step on solid ground. And then another. And then another…where each step is MAPPED OUT FOR YOU. That’s what I’m talking about. Believe me, that roadmap does exist.

It is a wonderful journey that brings you to the desires you really want in life.

I knew money and time were flying out of the window because I didn’t know what to do.

I did some desperate things. Have you ever done this?  Giving your products and services away even though you could have used the money?

Friends and family would call and ask for favors, as if I had nothing else to do. I said ‘yes’ to way too many of them, because the truth is – I didn’t think I was doing anything important. Reading emails and socializing too much on the internet was not getting me to where I wanted to be.  So I gave my precious time away to anyone and everyone as if I didn’t have a business to run.

The real issue was, I didn’t know how to be a business owner and get to my desired results. I didn’t know how to value my services or my time. I didn’t act or sound as professional as I would like and it proved out at the end of the day when I had little to show for my time, energy and money that I spent.

I knew there had to be a better way and THERE IS A BETTER WAY!

I can tell you I didn’t figure it out on my own. No more isolation. I began to model people who were achieving their goals and getting the results they desired.

The bottom line is I learned focus, structure and strategy!

I now have a simple, workable plan. I’m clear on how to arrange my schedule and put boundaries around my time so I am never distracted anymore. I’m focused. I can stay on track!

The best thing is – my time is freed up because I can now strategize my efforts to get the results!
